Ah, dear Banchou! 2, Beauty Pop 3, Goong 14: m&c! manga and manhwa releases (19 May 2008)

Okay, we have 19 May 2008 as the street date for these manga and manhwa previewed in the m&c! May 2008 release list; I call that good timing, given that the Buddhist festival Waisak (Vesak) Day falls this year on the 20th and being a public holiday, affords some lovely, early-in-the-week escapism with manga.

You may consider curling up with Miyawaki Yukino-sensei's Lunatic Honey but I'm betting you're eyeing that second volume of Ah, Dear Banchou! (Aa! Itoshi no Banchou-sama) instead. Or barring that, the third tankōbon of the serialized from the maiden issue of Cherry Shogakukan series Beauty Pop by Arai Kiyoko-sensei.

But I think we all know that Park SoHee's Goong volume 14 is the given BUY from this 75 percent shōjo/25 percent shōnen lot.

Personally though, I have a marshmallow-gooey spot for the character Ecchan (Etsu) from Angel From The End (Seikimatsu no Angel) which releases its second volume this Monday (or Sunday, depending on the speed of Gramedia's deliveries). So that one is going into the shopping basket.
