Kamiyadori 4, Jepang Tenggelam 2, Dandelion 2 of 2: Level Comics 22 July 2008 manga releases

Ns’あおい 6

Oh my, three Level manga releases in the title without the post writing itself; this triggers thoughts of rush hour and catch-up time for the Indonesian imprint. It's making me itch to call this The Stragglers List (I just did), as nearly all the installments below crawled here from June, one even scrabbling all the way from May.

Release delays regardless, they are also Much-Awaiteds, especially the fourth volume of Sanbe Kei-sensei's Kamiyadori and the second installment of Japan Falling, marketed in Indonesia as Jepang Tenggelam. Yes, these two gathered the most "Get!" votes among the EMO post-ers.

Finales and penultimates
Perhaps all the rush-rush comes from half of the list being short manga series that probably want to close and move on to better things like, I don't know, using up their vacation banks? Ochiai Naoyuki-sensei's Dandelion finishes (finally!) next Tuesday, and with their next installments, so will Asakura George-sensei's Shounen Shoujo Romance and Kamiyadori. Yoshimura Akemi-sensei's If You Were Here or Anata ga Ireba still has two volumes to go.

By genre
3—2—1. That's three seinen, two shōjo, and one shōnen title.

By original publisher
Another 3—2—1. Three Shogakukan manga, two Kodansha, and one Kadokawa. There's a diversity, however, to be found in the mangazines that originally serialized the titles: Betsufure, Big Comic Spirits, Morning, Petit Comic, Shonen Ace, Sunday Gene-X.
