They obviously hadn't fallen off the face of the not-flat! earth. B'T X, Kurumada Masami-sensei's shounen manga shucks off its MIA guise and reappears as its volume 11 self in this Elex release list.
Meanwhile, Charming Junkie 9 finally makes it as a scheduled, ending my speculations as to when exactly this volume was going to be released (it was supposed to go on sale in May and then July; I'd thought we would see it in bookstores in December).
I also has synopses of the New series and standalones (from Elex's blurbs) and a report on the ongoing Get! popularity contest after the manga list.

release commentary
By popularity
Word is that readers are planning to get Yakitate!! Japan 5. Hashiguchi-sensei's shounen series about a boy and his quest to "let them eat pan" is the tenth bestselling Elex manga after all.

But ranking or not, methinks Yakitate!!'s first place is as shaky as the chair you're standing on to replace that busted light bulb, threatened as it is by still possible increased vote numbers for BECK 15, Cop In Tokyo 5, volume 6 of the 19th-seed, Indonesian Nakayoshi-serialized Great Detective Kiyoshiro Yumemizu, the debuting MÄR sequel—MÄR Omega—by Anzai Nobuyuki- and Hoshino Koichiro-sensei, Rocket Man 3, and Touch 7.
Aside from MÄR Omega, there are two new series and one standalone. But before I drag these new series into the spotlight, lemme just state that the Indonesian MÄR series is not yet finished (latest released: volume 5).
Country Report
Fumizuki Kyoko-sensei's Country Report stars Momoko who, on her grandfather's counsel, accepts a job as a teacher in some rural hamlet to defray her and her Dalmatian's living expenses. Sadly, the people in the village aren't used to the likes of the fashionably trendy and much-made-up Momoko, especially not the vice-principal notorious for being the strictest of disciplinarians. And as if personal clashes weren't enough, the class Momoko handles faces scrapping, unless it can win the village's annual music contest.
Fumizuki Kyoko-sensei also created the upcoming Pocketful of Happiness, Koi no Tiara, Cinderella Time, and Milano Correction.
I'll decide whether or not to get this once I see the cover (all efforts at research yielded zip).
Cozmo Trouble
This makita by Nana & San San starts with Ai getting stuck in an elevator after she is told to report to Cozmo in a certain Building D. The unsuspecting Ai thinks she was called because of some mix-up in her registration or for having filled in some form wrong, but could there be something else behind the order to get Ai into Building D and the elevator's convenient "breakdown"?
Ai appears to be Too Dumb To Live, so I'm not getting this.
Delusive Voice
From Morino Aki-sensei, the creator of the Kanbayashi & Kirika series, we get the simultaneously shoujo/josei manga Usotsuki Voice. It's classified under two genres because it was first serialized in Hakusensha's Bessatsu Hana to Yume before being published in tankōbon format under the Lady's Comics imprint.
The story follows two orphaned sisters, Kisugi Nami and Mina. Nami possesses the talent to mimic voices and on their uncle's suggestion, voices a character in a game called "Female Detective Omega," using "Minami" as an alias. Owing to Nami's shyness, it is Mina who appears as Minami on the Omega live show and unfortunately, falls off the stage. Nami suspects another voice actor Tojo Kasune—who kept staring at Mina during rehearsal— of having pushed Mina, but he denies it and instead accuses Mina of not being the real Minami and fingers Nami as the true Detective Omega. This shocks Nami as this is their first meeting and Nami has never acted as Omega in front of anyone.
Definitely getting this two-volume series. This seiyuu fangirl has only been waiting since June.
By genre
Leaving out Shonen Magz 50 still leaves us with a 53 percent shounen release schedule. There is one seinen title, Geobreeders, whose volume 7 was meant to street in July.
By original publisher
Despite seemingly being a Shounen Magazine release list, there are more Shogakukan Shonen Sunday manga releasing on 6 August (the Kodansha aggregate is one less).
