You're never more than six degrees apart, or make that three months away from One Piece volume 50. The half-century marker of Oda Eiichiro-sensei's fantasy adventure manga finally streets next Wednesday, after licensing troubles caused it to be delayed by 12 weeks.

Including One Piece, Elex's 4 March release schedule is half-stocked with legacies from February and earlier. You can see five of them here, but one escaped all the way from November to win (again) the Most Patience-stretching Award. I'm talking about the historical action seinen manhwa, Ruler of the Land or Yul Hyul Kang Ho, one of Elex's top 20 bestsellers for 2008.

Another thing to note: penultimates comprise more than a fifth of the list. There's Dan Doh Next Generation 3 of 4, Et Cetera 8 of 9, Kitchen Princess 9 of 10, and Yukan Club 18 of 19. That's not to say though that there are no concluding or debuting manga. Shugo Chara! starts while the Sherlock Holmes series ends.

Geh. I just realized that this list is shounen-heavy. Very. There are only two shoujo tankoubon here!
