...won't lose to anyone when it comes to flower arrangements

Nakaji Yuki-sensei's Zig☆Zag volume 5, releasing next Wednesday, follows Saho and Taiyo's growing realization of their feelings for each other. The BB Company also decides to join the all-Japan Flower Festival competition — to show that they (deliberately eschewing the correct singular it) won't lose to anyone when it comes to flower arrangements.

Meanwhile, HanaLaLa grad Beauty is the Beast (Bijo ga Yaju)—Matsumoto Tomo's manga about one Yamashita Eimi's adventures while living in a girls' dorm—is finally released as a tankou. Kyaaa~! Wanichin!! *dies but is revived*

More shipping: School X Fight by Hara Asumi concludes this 25 Feb. Can't wait for the last volume. Who will Mirai end up with? If she'll end up with anyone, that is. I'm still favoriting Ryo even though that 'ship could be gushing from a hole as big as the Titanic gash...

Mangazines

Shonen Star 50 releases the day before the Elex tankoubon. In this issue, the hellish training of attrition continues in Kusaba Michiteru's Miagete Goran.

Most GET! votes

The most popular pick this release is undoubtedly Adachi Mitsuru-sensei's Rough 9, followed closely by Zig-Zag 5. The latest Claymore (volume 14), Eat-Man 8, Shonen Star 50, and the 12th volume of Godhand Teru squish themselves into third place. BTW, the live-action Godhand Teru series starring Hiraoka Yuta (Endo Shoji in the NANA live-action movie and Yano Haruka in Boku wa Imouto ni Koi o Suru) as Teru will premiere this April.

CvsF watch

Four titles reported in the February monthly schedule are in this list. It could stretch to four if Komikologi had misprinted Doraemon Comic Quiz 2 (and that it actually meant Comic Quiz 1). Two are January imports (Kunimitsu 18 and Eat-Man 8), while four, perhaps five, manga are advanced: Comic Bomber 10, the penultimate The One Pound Gospel, Rough 9, School X Fight 4, and (maybe) Claymore 14.

Two unscheduled manga box sets round it out: Conan volume 21 to 30 and InuYasha 11 to 20. I'm thinking about getting the next InuYasha set for my manga library.
