Fireworks mandatory. The out-out-outstanding first of Hidaka Banri-sensei's Akiyoshi Family Series finally releases: 365-nichi no Koibito, retitled Pacar 365 Hari by Elex, streets on 7 October. Here's hoping the rest (Sekai de Ichiban Daikirai!!!) are not too far behind.
A handful of stories comprise the 365-nichi no Koibito shoujo anthology. The title story summary in Komikologi is written in the first person POV (below):
My relationship with my boyfriend Motoi Shimizu has a time limit. Actually, he has another girlfriend — who likes another guy. To protect his girlfriend's reputation, Shimizu asked me to be his girlfriend for a year. I think it didn't have to be me; any girl would've done. And no matter how much I like him, the one in his heart isn't me. Even knowing that, I can't stop liking him.
Ouran High School Host Club 5
The #1 shoujo pick of this manga release, however, remains Ouran High School Host Club volume 5, the provenance of anime episode 15, The Refreshing Battle in Karuizawa!
The Host Club boys troop after Haruhi who is working in a Karuizawa pension over the summer, and there, compete for the crown of Freshest,
with the last vacant room in the pension as the prize. But the hosts are not the only ones providing a refreshing presence: someone from Haruhi's past also pops up. He still likes Haruhi, which makes Hikaru @#$%^&*?!!
La Corda D'Oro 3
The First Selection of the concours gets underway, but Kaho-chan is missing an accompanist. Fortunately, You Know Who comes to her rescue. Later, the concour contenders attend a training camp to prep for the Second Selection. Kaho and the boys under one roof?
Can I die (again) now?
Oh, and let's not forget the two chapters about middle-school Hihara and Yunoki in this volume.
I also haven't forgotten about Eyeshield 21 volume 30, which is the top DO WANT, nor the penultimate MisuFuru (volume 23). Those (and other) blurbs are after the manga list.
