Level Comics skeds 42 manga and (at least) four European comics for October, according to the latest (and revamped) Komikologi.

Edit: And makes good on programming 29 volumes, or over 63 percent of its monthly commitment.

Manga premieres

Instead of the finale of fan much-awaited Bond (Kizuna), we can look forward to a new shoujo manga, The Door (Tobira), from Momochi Reiko. This volume, released by TOKYOPOP in July 2003 (now out of print), is Book 1 of the 6-volume, real teen problems Confidential Confessions series, which also includes Namida (Tears, #2), Memai (Dizzy, #3), Pain (#4), Himitsu (#5), and Deai (sequel). The Door tackles the tricky issue of teen suicide. Edit: Lined up for 28 October release.

I'm meh on Tobira; more excited over Aihara Miki's Honey Hunt, which has a whiff of Skip Beat! about it. Serialized in Cheese!, Honey Hunt tells of Onozuka Yura's climb to stardom after her celebrity mom sleeps with Yura's best friend and crush, Shinsuke.

Meanwhile, three of the new series I had speculated would be debuting soon also make it into this list: Bambino!, Sekiya Tetsuji's cooking manga that, along with Kurosagi (whose volume 7 is likewise penciled in for the month), copped the 2008 Shogakukan Manga Award for seinen/general manga and was adapted into dorama in 2007; Miyabe Miyuki and Ono Yoichiro's Brave Story about gamer Wataru who embarks on a journey to the fantasy world Vision after his mother's accident; and Iliad, which follows Shuzo Iriya as he searches for the lost continent of Atlantis. I missed on Ergo Proxy though, which, like Honey Hunt, is a True New to the monthly skeds.

The rest of the debuting series were inherited from the previous months.
