Elex has announced an unbelievable (though no less welcome), will likely spill over into November and beyond 86 manga, manhua, manhwa, and four monthly anthologies for October 2009.

Edit: And of the above total, less than half or only 35 manga and manhwa and four anthologies were skedded for release this month.

Louise and Saito! The rumors about Elex coming out with the Zero no Tsukaima manga have panned out and the first volume of The Familiar of Zero is now awaiting an actual street date.

Meanwhile, Fujisaki Masato's Wild Life—about the perfect-pitched Tesshou working to become a veterinarian—makes the leap from Shonen Star serial to tankoubon with the Coming Soon release of volume 1.

Less earthbound is the story of Pai'yan who searches for his son with pet kitten turned into a half-human cat mix, Toraji, in Tamura Yumi's josei fantasy, Adventure of Cat Mix Toraji (Neko Mix Genkitan Toraji).

Two manhua originally published by Tong Li are also in store: Steel Rose by Ryan (Lai Ann), sequel to Ingènuo, about billionaire Louis who falls in love with Kickboxing Champion Lee Le Ting, and the historical shoujo romance, The Real Fake Princess by Ihuan (Yi Huan) about a reluctant princess and the warrior responsible for returning her to court.

Update on Hidaka Banri-sensei's Akiyoshi-ke which has been a mainstay of these monthly advisories since May: this time, the entire release caboodle re-includes Sekai de Ichiban Daikirai (Akiyoshi Family Series 5) retitled, according to the October Komikologi, I Hate You More Than Anyone — the same naming as the CMX English version (it had been previously advised in July as I Hate You The Most.) Elex is planning a three-volume concurrent release; this Elex tweet insists the series concludes at three volumes (instead of 13; the remainder supposedly comprises side stories that might also get published), so I'm following what Elex sez. Edit: I Hate You More Than Anyone remains outstanding. Again.

And speaking of another complete at three volumes, the boys' love manhwa series Railroad by Yun MiKyung is also on tap. Edit: Railroad debuted 21 October.

Legacies from September—specifically, the skedded Comic Alive series (KageMamo, Feng Shui School, Kampfer, and Maria Holic) and Aihara Miki's Prince's Girlfriend—make up the rest of the October new manga advisory.
