Love is Everywhere Valentine manga ♥ Part II

You know by now that Love is Everywhere is the catch-all for m&c!'s Heart Day 2011 romances (one-shots) and actually, there's a promo: If you buy three of the standalones between 20 January and 20 February—in selected Gramedia book stores—you get the chance to join a lucky draw. Up for grabs are Blackberry smartphones and iPod Shuffles. m&c! expands Love is Everywhere to embrace the KOLONI local comic Cinta Sang Fashionista that compiles:

1. Panel by LUV's Archie the Redcat, the story of aspiring komikus Fey who catches the eye of a famous comic artist and the jealousy that comes with it
2. Pakai Baju Apa Hari Ini? (What to wear today?) by Best Friends's Gita Juwita, about fashionista Ghea, accepted as an assistant to renowned stylist Leoni on the condition that she transform Leoni's geeky younger brother into a hottie
3. Between You and Me by A Place in Your Heart's Bijou which has heroine Erin being laughed at by the school's most popular boy, Aditya, after she is punished to stay under the sun for tardiness

m&c! also includes:

• Takoyaki Princess by Mizuho Rino that tells of Michinobe Akari's quest to have all of Japan eating takoyaki and her duel with the owner of the meat bun/bakpao establishment Banri (falling in love along the way). This standalone finished serialization in Cherry.
• Princess Gal Paradise by Wao Akira, modest school girl Tachikagawa Himeko's Road to Becoming a Gal and her not-so friendshipping with Gal guru Mikami Tochiotome-sama...who happens to be a guy. (Wao Akira-sensei is the manga-ka of the Tokkou Sayaka series: Yankee Girl, Sayaka I Love You, Sayaka's Special Attack, Big Victory! and Tokkou Sayaka Tenkamuteki.)
• Ijime: No Need to Cry and Ijime: Undefeated Guts, the light novel collaborations of Takeuchi Masami (+ONE, St. Valentine's Bodyguard, Summer Kiss) and Igarashi Kaoru that belong in Igarashi Kaoru's Ijime universe: The Lonely War, Escape from Hell, The Invisible Malice and Courage. Both light novels are premised on how a group of three girl friends (one set met on the internets) tackle the problem of bullying.

KOLONI Local comics

m&c! releases a revised version of Van's Be Boys (about Tomi's struggle to knock off the perfect mask popular friend Yogi hides behind) and premieres Wina Oktavia- and Annisa Fadilla Yusuf's The Butterfly Ink fantasy that has this Melissa Marr Wicked Lovely thing going for it, despite its novel mage- bodyguard/knight master premise:

A mage must protect her knight. So goes the prime directive of the Blood Covenant.

But Mona Flotan detests her knight Eam Bealo, the son of a noble family that has long served the kingdom. For almost half a year now, Mona has spent her days in Aureole Academy, without ever conversing with Eam, just as if a wall separated her from him.

What led to this change? They used to be childhood friends.

From that synopsis, wonder why m&c! didn't include this in Love is Everywhere?

The other KOLONI comics are Somme de Chat - Renee Sang Penyihir by KuDu, another witch/fantasy story; the Master-Servant troped My Premium Girl by H-San (the cover art of which looks manhwa-inspired); and the sounds heavy See You drama by Bob Raigen, about Angelie saved from committing suicide by Billy.
