Top 10 Male Seiyuu, My Picks

It's time for me to list my favorite male seiyuu! Actually, huamulan03 already made her list (read about it here). But I just wanted to list my personal faves because our taste was rather different xD
Without further ado, here it is.

1. Kamiya Hiroshi (神谷 浩史)

Favorite nickname: Kamiyan

Araragi Koyomi (Bakemonogatari)
Orihara Izaya (Durarara!!)
Tieria Erde (Gundam 00)
If you follow my Twitter, you must know how much I love him. He's like a God in the seiyuu world for me! Just hearing his voice is enough to make me enter 'Kyaaaa~' mode. As TV Tropes said, his character can be noble, cold, super smuggy, or even just plain hilarious. He won Best Supporting Actor for his role as Tieria Erde in the Second Seiyuu Awards. He also won Best Lead Actor for his role as Natsume Takashi in Natsume Yujincho and Best Personality in the Third Seiyuu Awards. Cool, isn't he?

2. Miyano Mamoru (宮野 真守)

Kida Masaomi (Durarara!!)
Suoh Tamaki (Ouran Koukou Host Club)
Kamui (Tsubasa Tokyo Revelations)
Yeaah, Miyano Mamoru!! A perfect seiyuu for womanizers! Though sometimes he voices serious characters like Setsuna F Seiei (Gundam 00) or Yagami Light (Death Note), I really like him when he voices womanizer characters. He won Best Lead Actor for his role as Setsuna F Seiei in the Second Seiyuu Awards.

3. Fukuyama Jun (福山 潤)

Favorite nickname: FukuJun
Favorite roles:
Lelouch Lamperouge (Code Geass)
Nura Rikuo (Nurarihyon no Mago)
Kishitani Shinra (Durarara!!)
Who doesn't know him? He's so popular for voicing Lelouch-sama! Unlike other seiyuu, he (kinda) has two voices, a sexy one like when he voiced Night Rikuo and a cute one for when he voiced Day Rikuo. Of course, the one I like is his sexy, arrogant voice :) He won Best Lead Actor for his role as Lelouch Lamperouge in the First Seiyuu Awards.

4. Ishida Akira (石田 彰)

Favorite roles:
Athrun Zala (Gundam SEED)
Xerxes Break (Pandora Hearts)
Eyes Rutherford (Spiral: Suiri no Kizuna)
I'm citing from TV Tropes (again :p):THE seiyuu when it comes to Bishonen characters. The girlier, the better. Yeah, totally agree with that statement. Almost all of his roles are for bishounen. That's because his voice can make bishounen rise to the next level LOL. He won Best Supporting Character (male) for his role as Athrun Zala in First Seiyuu Awards.

5. Hoshi Souichiro (保志 総一朗)

Shirazumi Lio (Kara no Kyoukai)
Rygart Arrow (Broken Blade)
Kira Yamato (Gundam Seed)
Famous for his role as Kira Yamato in Gundam Seed. I thought that his voice was only for those super kind bishies. I knew I was wrong when I watched Kara no Kyoukai. His voice when he voiced Shirazumi Lio was so bad-ass! Oh, and he's so famous for his ‘Oyakatta-sama!!!’ in Sengoku Basara.

6. Ono Daisuke (小野 大輔)

Favorite nickname: OnoD
Favorite roles:
Heiwajima Shizuo (Durarara!!)
Ushiromiya Battler (Umineko no Naku Koro Ni)
Yagami Kazuma (Kaze no Stigma)
Another fitting seiyuu for bishounen. Almost all of his roles are for cool bishie types. Although probably best known for his portrayal of Sebastian Michaelis in Black Butler, his role as Yagami Kazuma is the very first reason why I like him. He's also the destructive Shizu-chan in Durarara!!. He won Best Lead Actor for his role as Sebastian Michaelis in the Fourth Seiyuu Awards.

7. Kimura Ryohei (木村 良平)

Favourite roles:
Takizawa Akira (Higashi no Eden)
Hinata Hideki (Angel Beats!)
Maybe not many of you who know him, but I just love his voice! He needs to get more roles! His “BANG!“ in Higashi no Eden is just.. awesome!

8. Sakurai Takahiro (櫻井 孝宏)

Favorite nickname: Sakupyon
Favorite roles:
Mochizuki Jirou (Black Blood Brothers)
Misaki Takahashi (Junjou Romantica)
Oshino Meme (Bakemonogatari)
Really, really enjoy his voice as Jirou. Thanks to his wide range voice, it's so hard to tell the one voicing Misaki in Junjou Romantica is the same guy voicing Luka in Uraboku. Expect to hear his bad-ass voice as Oshino Meme in Kizumonogatari :)

9. Nakamura Yuichi (中村 悠一)

Favorite roles:
Okazaki Tomoya (Clannad)
Saotome Alto (Macross Frontier)
Yup, his deep voice was the one responsible for making me cry so hard two years ago when I watched Clannad. His voice as Tomoya is really excellent and fits so well with the character. And he did a great job voicing Alto in Macross Frontier. So, he's my 9th :D

10. Koyasu Takehito (子安 武人)

Favorite roles:
Sister (Arakawa Under the Bridge)
Giou Takashiro (Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitteiru)
He needs to return to main character roles! Really, because he is so awesome! I just like his deep and smooth voice~ According to Anime News Network, he has the most number of roles in anime (412 roles!). Sugoiii desu ne!

Okay, picking my top 10 male seiyuu was A LOT harder than I thought. Believe it or not, I spent more than five hours drafting this post (including searching for suitable photos for each seiyuu). And I'll be very happy if you're willing to share your top 10 male seiyuu. I'm not asking too much, right? :D
