Kana, the unwitting cause of her brother's death, feels lost. Not only does she have to deal with her parents' divorce, she also has to struggle to get along with her mother who gains custody (and their relationship is deteriorating by the day). Kana seeks her place in the world beside a boyfriend, only to suffer heartbreak when he ups and betrays her. Pushed to the brink, Kana attempts suicide, but fails and is forced to withdraw from school. Her mother, too, deserts her.
Just when all seems hopeless, Kana meets Yoshiie...
I assume this Yoshiie is the Yankee
of the title. I have no idea whether the character has anything to do with Yoshiie Hiroyuki who is co-credited for this shoujo drama. (The Japanese summary doesn't say.)
