Top 10 Female Seiyuu, My Picks

After listing my top 10 male seiyuu, I think it's kinda unfair if I don't make one for my top 10 female seiyuu. Making this list was easier than making the male seiyuu list, but it still took fully one hour to finish :)

1. Sakamoto Maaya (坂本 真綾)

Favorite roles:
Ryogi Shiki (Kara no Kyokai)
Nino (Arakawa Under the Bridge)
Fujioka Haruhi (Ouran Koukou Host Club)
Favorite song: Saigo no Kajitsu (Tsubasa Tokyo Revelations ED01)
Really loves her voice as Shiki! Damn, her Yume no youna, hibi deshita line from the Kara no Kyokai 7th movie still echoes in my mind. She also sang a lot of anime opening/ending/insert songs, but my favorite is Saigo no Kajitsu.

2. Sawashiro Miyuki (沢城 みゆき)

Favorite roles:
Celty Sturluson (Durarara!!)
Kanbaru Suruga (Bakemonogatari)
Drei/Cal Devens (Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~)
Favorite song: Ambivalent World (Bakemonogatari OP03)
The first time I liked her was when she voiced Drei. Then, she did a good job voicing the famous Headless Rider, Celty. Her distinct voice allows me to guess that it's her when she voices a role. And her voice as Maria (Arakawa Under the Bridge) was so fierce! xD

3. Kugimiya Rie (釘宮 理恵)

Favorite roles:
Shana (Shakugan no Shana)
Aisaka Taiga (Toradora!)
Alphonse Elric (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood)
Favorite song: Orange (Toradora! ED02)
Urusai! Urusai! Urusai! is perhaps my favorite line from her. Yes, Kugimiya Rie, the Queen of Tsundere manages to be the third in my top 10 female seiyuu. Having a wide range of voices makes her able to do both boy and girl charas. Did you ever think that the one who voiced Shana also voiced Alphonse?

4. Saito Chiwa (斎藤 千和)

Favorite roles:
Senjougahara Hitagi (Bakemonogatari)
Stella (Arakawa Under the Bridge)
Favorite song: Staple Stable (Bakemonogatari OP01)
Another female seiyuu with goddamn sexy voice. I just wish she gets more big roles. I immediately liked her when she did a very great job voicing Hitagi. She probably could've snatched the third position if she had more great jobs.

5. Hanazawa Kana (花澤香菜)

Favorite roles:
Tachibana Kanade (Angel Beats!)
Sengoku Nadeko (Bakemonogatari)
Favorite song: Renai Circulation (Bakemonogatari OP04)
Specialist for cute little girl voices, that's what I think about her. Well, her voice is very suitable for that kind of role so I don't mind. Her Koyomi onii-chan in Bakemonogatari was so cute!

6. Horie Yui (堀江 由衣)

Favorite roles:
Hanekawa Tsubasa (Bakemonogatari)
Kushieda Minori (Toradora!)
Favorite song: Silky Heart (Toradora! OP02)
Her Nyahahahaha~ in Bakemonogatari was pure awesome. But I find her uu uu as Ushiromiya Maria (Umineko no Naku Koro Ni) really irritating. Oh, and she also said lots of au au, au au as Hanyuu (Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni). She is the expert when it comes to voicing something like that :p

7. Koshimizu Ami (小清水 亜美)

Favorite roles:
Kallen Stadtfeld (Code Geass)
Nichi Keito (Star Driver: Kagayaki no Takuto)
Favorite song: Aki Iro no Aria (Star Driver: Kagayaki no Takuto)
Her role as Kallen was the one that shot her to popularity and the reason why I like her. I recognized her when she voiced Keito, but didn't like her until episode 18. Damn it, the Keito karaoke scene in that episode was frigging funny! Makes me immediately like Aki Iro no Aria :)

8. Hayami Saori (早見 沙織)

Favorite roles:
Morimi Saki (Higashi no Eden)
Agemaki Wako (Star Driver: Kagayaki no Takuto)
My first contact with her was when she voiced Saki. I really like her voice. She hasn't had many roles but it's understandable since she's still young. I hope she can get more bigger roles!

9. Kitamura Eri (喜多村 英梨)

Favorite roles:
Yui (Angel Beats!)
Kawashima Ami (Toradora!)
Her role as Otonashi Saya (Blood +) made her popular, but I didn't really like her back then. I started to like her when she did Ami in Toradora!. Also like her voice as Yui, especially when she said Koraaa! =D

10. Noto Mamiko (能登 麻美子)

Favorite roles:
Ichinose Kotomi (Clannad)
Kuronuma Sawako (Kimi ni Todoke)
She's the one responsible for voicing Sawako. If it wasn't her, I prolly wouldn't lurve Kimi ni Todoke as much. She also voiced Enma Ai (Jigoku Shojo), Asagami Fujino (Kara no Kyokai) and Monou Kotori (X) but I didn't really know her back then.
