But just as there was no joy in Mudville then, happiness and peace elude Haru and Mana this day. One of the Nanatsusaya (Seven Sheaths) attacks Chris — Sakura, whom Chris had once beaten. Of course, Haru and Mana aren't about to let the assault on the Hollyhock Crusader go unchallenged.

Enfolded in Yuu's warmth, Mika thaws and her frozen heart melts. She begins to think that she can finally let go of Hiro, her soul mate. She puts all of her Hiro memories and feelings into the "Are you happy?" she writes on the blackboard.

But just as Mika regains confidence in leaving everything behind, a problem arises...

Half an Apple 12 of 14 by Koyama Yukari

When was the last time we were at the beach? A kiss brings back fond memories, but even the smallest smile remains an impossibility.

Shindo's transfer to the medical products division unsettles Hikaru. Similar to Amano, Hikaru suspects Takeuchi's new drug of disturbing side effects. If she acts on her suspicions, however, she threatens Shindo's position.

Meanwhile, despite resistance from Natsuko who refuses to let Shindo go, Shindo confesses that he still loves Hikaru.

Everyone celebrates the end of the war games, little knowing he who who torched the warehouse hides in plain sight. Cesare realizes who the culprit is and pretends to enjoy the feast to draw the arsonist out. His tactic works, but what comes next plays no part in Cesare's plan.

Kyohei, Utao and Hibino finally return to Tokyo, and Utao continues to practice controlling Kakashi. Kyohei's former classmate Shimoyama, meanwhile, invites Aki to meet with someone, kickstarting a plot against Karakami Village.

Editor Adisti-san promises that not only are secrets revealed (s—l—o—w—l—y), Dolls of God 4 also includes a light story about Kyohei, Utao and Hibino's seaside ‘holiday.’ :D

☆ Fist of The Blue Sky 5 of 22 by Hara Tetsuo & Buronson

Despite Qing Bang's return to power and the fact that Yu Ling is still alive, Kenshiro decides to settle in Shanghai. His first agenda: return Guise's favor. Meanwhile, Hong Hua Hui higher-ups who fled to Hangzhou press their second-in-command to return to Shanghai. His name — Zhang Tai Yan of Hokuto Sokaken.

Fist of The Blue Sky editor Adisti-san wonders whether Hong Hua Hui's No. 2 man is as strong as Kenshiro.

♡ Glass Chair 7 of 8 by Nakamura Mariko

Aoi eventually weds Hayao and Izuru takes himself out of the picture. Domestic bliss appears to reign over Aoi and Hayao's household, but a chair in an exhibition rouses Aoi's curiosity and leads her back to Izuru. This prompts Hayao to put into effect his real revenge.

♡ Red River 8 of 28 by Shinohara Chie

With an Egyptian soldier's aid, Yuri manages to return to Hattusa and reveal the truth behind Prince Zannanza's death. But the calm doesn't endure as King Suppililiuma I dies from the virulent Seven Day Fever, and Crown Prince Arnuwanda ascends to the throne. Princes Kail and Juda are named next in line, prompting Queen Nakia to plot Kail—and Ishtar's— downfall.

Red River editor Lenny-san notes that once again, Yuri sacrifices so much to help Kail >_<.

  • Shadow Skill 4 by Okada Megumu: The giant seal secreted beneath Kuruda and Devil's sphere is exposed, unshackling the fearsome creator of the Kuruda-style Kosappo. His objective: to find a successor.
  • Zipang 7 by Kawaguchi Kaiji: The JDS Mirai receives permission to dock at Yokosuka. Kadomatsu takes the opportunity to visit his father, but finds to his shock that history has changed because of the Mirai's arrival. What's worse, Kusaka actuates his plans, forcing Kadomatsu to tail Kusaka to Manchuria.
