Inuyasha © Takahashi Rumiko/Shogakukan [First serialized in Shonen Sunday] · Tekken Chinmi © Maekawa Takeshi/Kodansha [Kodansha Manga Bunko] · Q.E.D. Naraku forces Sango into a corner: if she sacrifices Rin, she can save Miroku. Whatever her choice, will she be in time to stop Miroku from opening his last wind tunnel?
It seems everyone falls prey to Naraku and his look-alikes' traps in Takahashi Rumiko's Inuyasha 55, the penultimate volume. While Inuyasha and Sesshomaru attack Naraku in earnest... Kagome loses her priestess powers, making her a prime target!
[from VIZ Media's Inuyasha, Vol. 55: Power of the Jewel description]
Inuyasha 55 compiles chapters 539–548: Capture,
Reborn Light,
Trap of Light,
Swallowed Light,
Vanished Arrow,
Core,
Despair,
Naraku's Wish,
Cutting Meidou
and Byakuya's Blade.
[*NOT Elex/Shonen Star chapter titles] If you can't wait for Elex to release the final tankou, check out Shonen Star and find the post 548 chapters there.
I would've followed up the Inuyasha 55 preview with that of Kungfu Boy 7 Premium, but its synopsis is the same as Flash of Wind 29's (screencap proof »here and »here for when Gramedia Shop twigs and changes KBP 7's synops). Chinmi fans, don't fret, because Chinmi is also the star (the front cover) of Shonen Magz Issue 11 (also streets on the 16th), which (prolly) means a major Kungfu Boy Legends development is afoot. But more on ShoMagz later.
So you can see I have a valid reason for previewing Q.E.D. volume 38 up here—Inuyasha, Kungfu Boy and Q.E.D. all tied for top DO WANT! so fair's fair—and it has nothing to do with me fangirling Touma nor shipping Touma×Kana :P
Q.E.D. vol 38 of 40+
By Katou Motohiro
Kuse Yumeji, a film producer with big dreams, persuades Shimamoto Shigehiko, a millionaire's son, to bankroll his movies. The movies do so badly at the tills, Shimamoto loses all his money.
One day, as Shimamoto is about to ask Kuse for a DVD of "Metaphor Murder Case," the producer is murdered. The main suspect: Shimamoto.
Synops above refers to chapter 75 Kekosongan,
one of two Q.E.D. 38 stories, first serialized in Magazine E-no's November 2010 issue. The other story is Tujuh Belas,
first published in January 2011. [Original serialization details from the Japanese Wikipedia Q.E.D.証明終了 entry.]

Adventure of Cat Mix Toraji vol 4 of 4+
By Tamura Yumi
Toraji manages to scout out a clue to the Magic Mouse's whereabouts and of course, Rio's. Toraji, Pai Yan, Jose and Professor Puchen hie off to Museum Pandoragora, which extends a welcome only to Toraji and company. There they come across the unexpected: a child, a Thieving Mouse and a Greedy Mouse...!?
Elex thumbs ups Pai Yan's super innocence (for a decorated Hero) and Toraji (keeyootness) and guaratees a slice-of-life story that will touch your heart. That is, if you can take the long wait between releases: Adventure of Cat Mix Toraji 3 first went on sale in April 2010, though that gap's still less frustrating than the 2009.11 to 2011.02 wait Japan went through for volume 4 (despite Tamura Yumi-sensei appearing to divide her time only between Neko Mix Genkitan Toraji and 7 Seeds).
Animal Doctor vol 9 of 12
By Sasaki Noriko
Winter rolls round, and Hamtel and pals are busy, busy, busy. Chobi part-times as a model, Nikaido searches everywhere for a cat to star in his thesis, Hishinuma-senpai gets stalked and Hamtel and Caesar once more join forces to enter a dog sled race!
Elex highlights that Doubutsu no Oishasan was voted All Time Best Selling Shoujo Manga
(Comipress version). What more encouragement do you need to GET!?
Bride of the Water God vol 6 of 15+
By Yun MiKyung
The so-called ‘Nakbin’ reveals to Soah that Habaek and Mui are one person (or one Water God, as it were). What's more, Soah senses something unsavory in Taeuljinin, making her doubt whether she can trust anyone in the Water Kingdom.
Will Soah's distrust finally separate the bride from her Water God husband? That Habaek-eui Shinbu has logged 15 volumes in Korea as of June this year is your clue that there are problems beyond the outing of a secret. :)
Topeng Kaca vol 19 of 24+ Deluxe: Bayang-Bayang Jingga (3)
By Miuchi Suzue
Before an Isadora premiere audience of drama VIPS, Hayami Masumi goads Maya into acting out her role as the Wolf Girl in The Forgotten Wilderness. Little does Maya realize that her present indignation would open the path to Crimson Angel.
You realize that we're five Deluxe volumes away from the most recent Japanese Glass no Kamen bunko? That was fast...
