True, m&c! doesn't have an extensive Love is Everywhere shoujo manga line-up like last year, but a week before Valentine's Day, it compensates by triple-launching Aikawa Saki's Kimi to Koi no Tochuu. Which is ♡, MAX!

I reserve the NikBabble™ for the Ex-Boyfriend, Love Triangle, Finding Love Again, First Love, Male Lead Falling in Love First Kimi to Koi no Tochuu, retitled In Love with You, in my upcoming Valentine Special review. Yes, I've been waiting to fangirl Kimi to Koi for ages, but I still have beef with its shaky Big Mis(understanding) foundation that threatens to bring the entire series down—the Big Mis/Big Secret is the most egregious of all romance tropes—but don't worry, Imma still blurb this ex-Sho-Comi serial:

"You're my first love. I never thought you would leave me."

So traumatized is Yuna by her first boyfriend Takumi breaking up with her that she shies away from love and boys thereafter. But when classmate Hayato confesses to her for the second time, Yuna accepts, reasoning it's about time she forgot Takumi.

Just when Yuna begins to think she can finally move on, Takumi reappears...

As In Love with You enters its second tank —

“War” breaks out between Takumi and Hayato. Takumi resolves to win back Yuna, who despite actually liking Hayato, can't erase her feelings for Takumi...

So who does torn between two lovers Yuna choose? The last line of m&c!'s In Love with You 3 preview teases: Step by step, we move forward. Because we love each other.

So yeah, m&c! ONLY has In Love with You as its pre-Valentine 2012 offering, but what a rabu rabu munificence. Aikawa Saki da yo! She only created You Can't Disappear From Me and 16 Life :P. (Moar on other m&c!-published Aikawa Saki shoujo manga after the release list.) Still, I cannot overemphasize: GET!, GET!, GET! ♡

If you don't want In Love with You, you prolly belong to the non-shoujo camp and might be more interested in the series finale to Tony Wong and Dick Kwong's manhua, The Story of Wang Fenglei Season 2, which ends with Black Fenglei's unprecendented metamorphosis in Book Eight.

Other Aikawa Saki manga
Already mentioned two other series besides In Love with You or Kimi to Koi no Tochuu — the four-volume You Can't Disappear From Me (Boku kara Kimi ga Kienai) and 16 Life.

m&c! has also published these Aikawa Saki anthologies: Secret Kiss, Love Me (Renai Joujou), Love After School (Houkago, Sensei to Koi ni Ochiru) and My Prince (Oresama Ouji).

I'm still waiting for m&c! to license The Morning After the Night Before and She Wakes up Beside a Mafia heir Iinchou no Himegoto (AKA The Committee Chairman's Secret; two volumes published in Japan between June and September 2008), but considering the racy premise—the first Iinchou no Himegoto is actually one of Six adult love stories in the Slip off a uniform after school Houkago, Seifuku o Nui de antho top-billed by Kurumatani Haruko—I'm not holding my breath.

Aikawa Saki-sensei also contributed one-shots to two other Sho-Comi Pink Label smut anthologies. Love Princess and W Prince appeared in the Dame Ijiwaru H antho top-billed by Shinjo Mayu (JP release: 2004.12), while Suki ga tomaranai! was included in Honnou - Motto Midaretai top-billed by Shigano Iori (published 2005.12).

Her latest completed Sho-Comi serial is Naisho no Jikan, which, from these Smart Female Lead, Smart Male Lead, Café, Cosplay, Hidden Identity, Male Lead Falling in Love First, Rivalry, Rivals become Lovers tags sounds like a My Sweet Kaicho rip-off. Naisho no Jikan, compiled in tankou last November, differs only in its meganekko protagonist :P. Rant regardless, Imma getting when m&c! publishes it.
