Faster than a Kiss 3, Dragon's Fiance 4, Ciuman Dewa 9 (Elex Media 28 March 2012 manga) [UPDATED]

Update: No longer "just a list" :p

Dragon's Fiancé 4 (Elex Media)

Ryuu no Hanawazurai © Kusakawa Nari/Hakusensha [First serialized in LaLa]. Published in Indonesia as Dragon's Fiancé by Elex Media

Kwan's condition improves, but not enough to allow Shakuya's fiancé to move (much less dance a celebratory jig). Shakuya is so worried about his recovery that Kwan... is ‘forced’ to kiss her!

Meanwhile, our anxious dragon's other—first—fiancé Lushin suffers from sudden pains. Whether these stem from heartache or something else remains to be seen, but for sure, they bode...

Lushin recovering his memories? :P

For those of you who followed Dragon's Fiancé in HanaLaLa, this fourth volume compiles chapters 15 through 20, which means you're safe if you've read all the way till HanaLaLa's last issue (Indonesian serialization only reached up to chapter 26, bound in volume 5).

As for the top DO WANT!, a "Devil"’s whisker's vote more than Dragon's Fiancé 4—

Faster than a Kiss vol 3 of 10+
By Tanaka Meca

Newly-married Fumino and Ojiro-sensei should be living teh happy life, but RL chaos puts paid to any shot at wedded bliss. What's more, Ojiro-sensei's little brother Shoma shows up at the school cultural festival, and relations between the siblings seem somewhat...strained.

It's gonna get stranger when Shoma pays a visit to Ojiro mansion and finds... «!!!» (Catch the fireworks exploding in Faster than a Kiss vol 3, finally streeting after a two-week delay.)

Faster than a Kiss 3 compiles (slow) Love.8 through 12. Ten Kiss Yori mo Hayaku tankou have been published in Japan as of December 2011.

New Elex titles
Elex finally releases March Komikologi-advised The Future of Iris, originally Okano Fumika's Iris no Tamago, also an ex-LaLa shoujo manga like FTAK and RyuuHana, but one that spins its fantasy out in only two volumes. Elex also picks up another lifted from the classics Capstone graphic novel, Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling, following up the Komik Legenda Ternama series launched with L. Frank Baum's The Wizard Of Oz, Bram Stoker's Dracula, Jules Verne's 60000 mil di bawah laut and Lewis Carroll's Alice In Wonderland. Newbie babble after the release list.

The Future of Iris vol 1 of 2
By Okano Fumika

After an emergency landing in the jungle, Feilin stumbles across Jura, a humanoid crystal the locals call ‘Iris’. Gem traders pursue Iris for her [his? –Ed.] jewel eyes. Unwilling to see Jura's eyes gouged out, Feilin escapes with Jura.

Sawry, I didn't GET! The Future of Iris, so not sure who's the guy and girl. Right now, going with Jura/Iris as the she and Feilin as the he; if I'm wrong, just gender swap 'em :D

Elex touts The Future of Iris as a classic with a unique theme. You be the judge if you grab and read this first volume before I do.

The Future of Iris or Iris no Tamago, for all that it spans only two volumes, made serial appearances in LaLa, LaLa DX, LaLa SF Special and LaLa Spring Club, or so sez Baka-Updates Manga. Its two tankou were published between January 1995 and August 1996.

Other Okano Fumika manga
Aside from Iris no Tamago, Okano Fumika is credited with these shoujo titles (I don't which, if any, were licensed for Indonesia), published under Hakusensha's Hana to Yume Comics imprint (unless otherwise indicated): Fruits Kajuu 100% (seven volumes published between July 1988 and July 1990; reissued in three bunko volumes from September 2007 to January 2008); Lovely Hyakkajiten (two Hana to Yume Comics tankoubon published in February 1997 and May 1998; reissued by Square Enix's Stencil Comics in June 2002 and November 2003); the shoujo love story feat. Minamoto no Yoshitsune, Yoshitsune Den Sakura Fubuki ni Chiri Yuku Koi (released by Gakken Publishing's Pichi Comics in December 2004); Gekkou Shou: first serialized in Kadokawa's (now defunct) Shoujo Teikoku (two volumes published under the Asuka Comics imprint in March 2002); Te no Hira ni Hoshi: first serialized in Bessatsu Hana to Yume (two volumes compiled between July 2000 and January 2001) [Read more...]

Komik Legenda Ternama: Jungle Book
By Rudyard Kipling

I truly doubt anyone doesn't know what Rudyard Kipling's Jungle Book is all about, but just in the percentage is not zero! case, excerpting the original Capstone description:

In the jungles of India, a pack of wolves discover a young boy. They name the boy Mowgli and protect him against dangers, including Shere Kan, the most savage tiger in the jungle. As Mowgli grows up, he learns the ways of the jungle from Bagheera the panther, the wise bear, Baloo, and other animals. Soon, he must decide whether to remain among beasts or embrace his own kind.

Ciuman Dewa vol 9 of 11+
By Suzuki Julietta

The kami convention over, Nanami returns to her regular school life. That is, if ‘regular’ includes meeting a wee tengu on the road home. Nanami can't resist quizzing the tengu tyke, apparently on a mission to locate ‘Shinjuro’ who left the tengu village for the human world some 17 years ago...

I'm guessing you already know who ‘Shinjuro’ is *cough*lookathecover*cough*; if (still) not, Elex's Ciuman Dewa vol 9 blurb continues: Tengu village Mt. Kurama episode, start-OH! (If you've ever wondered why Kurama can live happily among humans, you've come to the right place.)

If you're not at all interested in Kurama (who sometimes turns into an ostrich) and just want moar Tomoe-sama, lemme tease with something VIZ's Kamisama Kiss, Vol. 9 description hints at, after Nanami realizes that a romance between a human and a youkai is destined for tragic #Fail: Should she [Nanami] be true to her heart or cut Tomoe loose for his own good? Either way, getting dragged into a group date isn't going to help matters at all! (Kyaaa~! Can't wait for Tomoe to go teh usual Crazy Jealous Guy mode, ON!)

Eleven Kamisama Hajimemashita volumes have been published in Japan as of January this year; the 12th is scheduled for a 20 April 2012 release.

Domitor Leo: Air Mata Dewi Kebebasan
By Kushima Michie

If you're reading the Domitor Leo light novels—or you belong to the aged 7—12 group Elex has identified as this series' demographic—here's the original Indonesian excerpt:

Kalau saja hujan berhenti...

Mendadak, seberkas cahaya memancar dari kedalaman kabut. Carol menelengkan kepala, menyangka doanya terkabul. Tapi, ketika cahaya itu kembali memancar, sebuah kecemasan mulai merayapi punggungnya. Kilat...?
